Here are a few pictures showing what my concern is with the oil return line. First of all the center section of the turbo is at about a 8:00 to 2:00 position. I'm hoping that will be sufficient, but it isn't straight up and down at all if that makes any difference. Also, since the return line itself is a little bit long it isn't a entirely 'downhill' from the turbo to the fitting on the timing chain cover. It goes down and then kinks back up before entering the timing chain cover. So my assumption is that a little bit of oil inside the return line will get 'backed up' so to speak prior to entering the engine. I realize I can simply cut the line back a couple of inches to fix this problem but I think using a 90* elbow out of the bottom of the turbo is a better idea. I don't want to cut the return line a few inches shorter right now and then find out it is TOO short once I go to a 90* fitting. Also, the bend out of the turbo right before the fender and under the lower radiator hose is pretty tight, it doesn't look too bad in the pictures but it is quite snug.

Anyway, this is how it looks. Let me know what your thoughts are. If you think the oil getting backed up inside the return line is going to create too much back pressure and potentially damage the turbocharger I will not drive it until I fix the issue. But if everything looks like it will be alright, especially only for a few weeks of normal driving before I come up to your shop for some dyno pulls then I'll have it out on the streets for testing starting tomorrow night and throughout the weekend.
